Fake cake

My friend's son, Erik, got registered as a proper Danish citizen this sunday (instead of getting baptized). And he got this cake, which I didn't like, since I'm not really a cake-person and especially not with banana and cocoa, but I LOVED the design, made by his dad. Nobody darred to eat it at first, because it looked like a fake cake you put in a window. But they slowly came crepping.

Macarons

Don't really get the whole macaron-craze, but they are the shit in Paris, so I had to at least try the Häagen-Dazs ice cream macarons! They were a bit disappointing, though. Just a layer of coloured white chocolate filled with ice and extremely expensive. So the rest of the time Rasmus had the regular (beautiful, I must admit) macarons, and I had a good old-fashioned strawberry cake. And a Perrier. Of course.
