A Really Good Weekend

My weekends are for the most part filled with work, studies, and practical errands at home, but not this one, ooooh no, I did nothing of the sort!

Beers and off to Paris-party for a friend; Per + Chris and their two sons over for thai soup with fresh vegetables, brown rice, and beef/coriander-meatballs, and for dessert turtle ice cream + melon mouth (Georg, their oldest son, cut out sharons and melon to make it look like a face with ice cream eye balls - fortunately kids don't eat that much, so I got two extra scoops); sunday walk round the lakes in Copenhagen with my good friend Thordis and her daughter, Viola. I love the homemade mobile - Violas father thinks it's really ugly, so it's been banned from the apartement and now has a perfect spot in her pram window.

I also love how the combination of ice + snow looks; it's almost too beautiful, which makes it perfect to find some kind of used-to-be voodoo ritual on the bottom of one of the lakes.

The rest of this sunday will be spent with the news paper + The Wire - I'm still waiting to feel that wow!!-feeling, everybody's talking about, but I do like it. Just not shure it's love. Yet.

And Kym, I understand the inspiration - that is some crazy, beautiful installations at steiner/lenzlinger - would love to see what you came up with inspired by them!

Hey, sådan så min søndag også ud. Suppen i mit tilfælde var bare Tom Yum. Dejlig dag.

sejt! Tom Yum, det lyder eksotisk og noget jeg må prøve næste søndag :)
